| For our craft we used a card stock and pasted a cloud. The title was " I have a dream" they were to write what they wanted to do as a great impact of change in this world. |
Today we went on a trip to the Goodwill warehouse and only paid $4.00 for 18 books the kids were excited and were able to pick out what they loved the most. From graph papers, reading materials to flash cards of all the presidents. We also found two great classics at dollar tree, "Moby Dick" and "The Little Woman".
- Bible Study
- Science Journals of our celery experiment after 24hours and learned about Xylem.
- Reading: Suffixes-Read a couple of chapters of our books currently on.
- Math Games: We also drove around and rounded off house numbers to the nearest tenths and hundreds.
What we learned today!
- Science: We are learning about plants and how water is supplied.
- Art History: Vincent Van Gogh's painting The Starry Night
- History: Beethoven Video by Animated Hero Classics
- Crafts: Painting the Vincent Van Gogh with water colors and coloring a sheet to duplicate his art.
- Read for 1/2hr each
- Math Sheets-Order of Operation/Problem Solving
- On our break we played Math Games and when the day was over Minecraft.
The kids our enjoying this journey and look forward to tomorrow.
