Today we accomplished a lot. We did our bible story, journaled a prompt from Minecraft. If you're kids love mine craft they will get super excited about journaling. Pretty neat they were well motivated and wrote more than any other day. Here are some cool links: http://www.writeshop.com/blog/minecraft-writing-prompts/
Stopped at the library to drop off and grab some more books on Archeology.
LEGO BUILDING FUN!!!!
Also grabbed this really cool lego book! We headed to created some fishes.
We found some History Sheets at the dollar tree today that were to each grade level. Also timed multiplication sheets were pretty awesome for my 3rd grader.
SPELLING GAME We have to practice on to our spelling skills. My 5th year old can barely spell to her grade level. She misses lots of word and writes them backwards as well. We played at Pogo.com "Word Womp", had a spelling test for her and played a vocabulary word game found here: "BUMP A SPELLING GAME": http://www.education.com/activity/article/Bump_Spelling_fifth/ The excitement filled the room! They got really loud lol. They challenged each other to spell both grade level words and they really got good at spelling them. If you have a child with difficulty spelling an A+ game.
