Today was a smooth day we did some reading on Martin Luther King and did a craft.  We also learned how to do a Prezi at Prezi.com

TECHNOLOGY (S.T.E.A.M) at the local library: Learned how to build a blog and privacy settings.  

• My kids love mine craft and found some sheets to do multiplication with mine craft characters at _
  
• We went to the post office and used the postage machine and learned where to put the outgoing mail.
• Went grocery shopping and calculated the amounts of the B1G1 Free minus a coupon and total of items in cart. We also collected Publix Recipe Cards to create a recipe book and try cooking some different meats and fish.
• Spelling in alphabetical order.
• We journaled on two topics and read/wrote about Adam & Even.  We have been using "The Jesus Bible Stories-Every Story Whispers his Name".   I find that the graphics in the book is amazing and has great detail in the stories.  

For our very first day we did great.  We started our day with a bible devotional. Went to the Arts & Craft Class at our local library. Created some awesome snow globes with corn syrup and water in a baby food jar.  We added some beautiful confetti and filled them up to the top. We are learning spanish together online.  We read about president John F. Kennedy and worked on a sheet on some facts.  For Math we did multiplications at each ones level 3rd grade and 5th grade. We then played a game online.  We also did a research project of our own on the choice of any animal on http://arkive.com.  We wrote in our journals and created some goals for the rest of the year.  The day went smooth and this has been both a learning experience for me and my kids.  We love it so far! We are not on any specific curriculum and trying to read more and get educated on the Charlotte Mason Technique.   Jerimiah is starting his reading on, "The One and Only Ivan". Yanyliz started reading, "LITTLE HOUSE IN THE BIG WOODS".
