Today was a smooth day we did some reading on Martin Luther King and did a craft. We also learned how to do a Prezi at Prezi.com
Today we went on a trip to the Goodwill warehouse and only paid $4.00 for 18 books the kids were excited and were able to pick out what they loved the most. From graph papers, reading materials to flash cards of all the presidents. We also found two great classics at dollar tree, "Moby Dick" and "The Little Woman".

We read about president John F. Kennedy and worked on a sheet on some facts. For Math we did multiplications at each ones level 3rd grade and 5th grade. We then played a game online. We also did a research project of our own on the choice of any animal on http://arkive.com. We wrote in our journals and created some goals for the rest of the year. The day went smooth and this has been both a learning experience for me and my kids. We love it so far!
